Breast cancer occurs when abnormal cells in the breast grow and develop into a tumour. There are many risk factors that contribute towards the development of the disease, examples include inherited genes, hormone imbalances, alcohol consumption, being overweight or obese, and so on.
While not all breast cancer can be prevented, we can take proactive steps to reduce risk. Embracing healthier lifestyles - through smart nutrition choices, regular physical activity, and mindful habits regarding alcohol and smoking - can significantly impact our health.
